Physical therapists provide an essential role in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries. As specialists in the healthcare system, physical therapists evaluate, make mechanical diagnoses, provide interventions, and measure outcomes.  We practice with a foundation of ethics and evidence-based research to provide quality care, and act as advocates for patient/client needs.

Do you need PT?

Any person may seek physical therapy services without a referral from their physician in Oregon. Liability insurers and the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy affirm that physical therapists’ services provided without referral do not jeopardize the health, safety, or welfare of the patient/clients seeking physical therapists’ care and services without referral. Patients primarily pay on an out of pocket basis for direct access care. However, third party payers may reimburse for these services depending on specific insurance policies.
